Hi, I'm Lauren Noël!

My path to photography began in an unexpected place: healthcare. With a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Towson University and years of experience as a Registered Nurse at local Baltimore hospitals, I spent my career caring for people during some of the most important and vulnerable moments of their lives.

Working in healthcare taught me far more than clinical skills. It taught me how to connect with people, pay attention to the details that matter, remain calm under pressure, and recognize the significance of moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed. I learned that every person has a story worth telling.

Photography became a natural extension of those lessons. What started as a creative outlet quickly grew into a passion for preserving authentic memories and genuine connections. Whether I’m capturing a family milestone, a professional headshot, a special event, or the everyday moments that become treasured memories, my goal is always the same: to create images that feel real, meaningful, and uniquely you.

My background as a nurse shapes the way I work behind the camera. I understand how to help people feel comfortable, communicate clearly, and create a relaxed experience even when they’re nervous about being photographed. I bring the same attention to detail, compassion, and professionalism to every session that I brought to patient care.

When I’m not behind the camera, I continue to draw on my experience in healthcare, community leadership, and communications—experiences that have deepened my appreciation for people, relationships, and the stories that connect us all.
